Prime Minister Modi is on tour of the US. He will start his tour at Houston, Texas where he will be seen addressing an event of 50,000 Indian-American people at NRG Stadium, Houston. The most amazing thing about this event is the US President Donald Trump will also be attending the event and he will also address the crowd. The event is named Howdy Modi because of the way Texan People (People who live in Texas ) greet with each other (not necessarily), which means Hello.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's will be staying in till 27 September for different agendas and engagements.

On 21 September
PM Modi will arrive at the George Bush International Airport in Houston.
a round-table meeting with oil-sector CEOs (Hotel Post Oak) is scheduled to take place.
a photo opportunity with PIOs and a brief interaction with the NRIs.
On September 22
PM Modi will attend the "Howdy, Modi" event at NRG Stadium in Houston. PM Modi will address a gathering of close to 50,000 people at the event.
The Event will start at 9:00 AM (7:30 PM IST)
The "Howdy, Modi" program will be broadcasted live in Hindi, English and Spanish languages followed by an address by PM Modi and President Donald Trump.
Post the event, PM Modi will separately interact with the US Congress members before leaving for New York for the UN General Assembly session and other engagements.
PM Modi and President Donald Trump would meet on two occasions during the former's visit to the US. The first occasion would be when President Trump would address the 'Howdy Modi' event in Houston on September 22.
The second instance would be when the two leaders would meet for a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the UNGA session in New York on September 24.
On September 23
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Climate Action Summit hosted by UN Secretary-General (UNSG) Antonio Guterres. PM Modi is slated to speak around 10 am (7:30 pm IST).
PM Modi would then attend an event on universal health coverage which is also hosted by the UNSG. PM Modi will showcase India's 'Ayushman Bharat' program at this event.
It will be followed by a leaders' dialogue on strategic response to terrorism and violent extremists narratives. The dialogue will be jointly hosted by the King of Jordan, President of France, Prime Minister of New Zealand and the UNSG.
It will be attended by PM Modi, Presidents of Kenya and Indonesia, Prime Minister of UK, German chancellor, et al.
On September 24
PM Modi has scheduled to co-chair the India-Pacific island states leaders meet which will be followed by lunch hosted by the UNSG.
In the afternoon, the Indian mission to the UN in New York will organise the 150th-anniversary event to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi in the UN called 'Leadership Matters: Relevance of Gandhi in Temporary Times'.
PM Modi will be joined some Heads of Government and Heads of States, including UNSG Antonio Guterres. There will be three launches at the event:
1. Gandhi Solar Park: Installation of solar panels on the rooftop of the UN building in New York from a grant of $1 million that India has given.
2. Remote inauguration of the Gandhi Peace Garden in a university.
3. Release of a UN postage stamp.
PM Modi will be awarded the 'Global Goalkeepers Award' at Lincoln Centre by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for leadership in the field of sanitation through swachch Bharat Abhiyan.
On September 25
Prime Minister will chair the Bloomberg Business forum followed by a conversation with Mr Bloomberg.
Then, an investment round-table meeting will take place organised by the Government of India and Invest India with CEOs of over 40 companies.
PM Modi will also co-chair the India-CARICOM meet with 14 Caribbean leaders. This is the first-ever India-CARICOM summit with 14 leaders of the Caribbean nations where PM Modi will engage with the leaders over a two-hour session.
On September 26
a number of bilateral meetings are scheduled. PM Modi will inaugurate the Gandhi Peace Garden in NYC. This is being done as per the government's policy to take various steps to celebrate Mahatama Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary.
On September 27
PM Modi will address the United Nations General Assembly session in the first half of the day (approximately 9 pm IST). This would be the prime minister's second address at the UNGA. The first was in 2014.
PM Modi and the Foreign Minister are also scheduled to attend various bilateral and plurilateral meetings on the sidelines of the UNGA session.
As of now, there are fourteen bilateral meetings lined up for PM Modi, including one with US President Trump.
