This 14 December 2019 marks the 7th anniversary of horrible shooting happend in Sandy Hook Elementary School in USA.
In 2012 on this day 20-year-old Adam Lanza shot and killed 26 people, including 20 children between six and seven years old, and six adult staff members. Before driving to the school, he shot and killed his mother at their Newtown home.
Later Lanza committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.
This remains the deadliest mass shooting at school in U.S. history.
To this day the families of the lost lives are fighting against the gun culture in United States.
Seven years since Sandy Hook. We have made zero progress toward stopping school shootings. We have made zero progress toward stopping other mass shootings. Elections in 2020 can change our direction and start us on a path to safety. #SandyHook— Ed McLaughlin (@GoVCURamsAD) December 14, 2019
you would think after 20 children and 6 teachers were g*nned down at #SandyHook, the government would have done something, but nope. so many innocent people are still losing their lives over senseless g*n violence— ashley ☼ (@jakeG_hall) December 14, 2019
My GOD how can any human with a beating heart be OK with what happened and continues to happen to children... It is still heartbreaking every single time. This should not be something we are NUMB to. #SandyHook #SandyHookPromise https://t.co/cc4zJaJ3FU— Cathy (@Cathaclysmic) December 14, 2019
